Quick answer: a daily looksmaxxing routine for men is about ten minutes of products and a lot of free habits. Morning: cleanse, one serum, moisturizer, SPF 30, creatine, protein. Night: cleanse, serum, moisturizer, with a retinol product two nights a week to start. Weekly: photos in the same light, one rescan, one adjustment. Sleep seven to nine hours, train three to five times a week, and judge the whole thing at eight weeks, not eight days.
Most routines fail for the same reason: too many products bought in one weekend, run for nine days, then abandoned. The routine below is deliberately short, and the free parts of it are doing more work than the paid parts. Run it as written for eight weeks before you change anything. It is written for adults 18 and over.
The rules before the routine
- Free habits first. Sleep, sun protection, training and protein outrank every product here, ours included.
- One product per job. One serum, one moisturizer. Stacking three serums gives you more ways to irritate your skin and no way to tell which one did what.
- Same order, every day. Thinnest to thickest: water based serums first, creams after, sunscreen last.
- Add one thing at a time. Two weeks between new products, so a reaction has an obvious cause.
- Photos, not memory. Day one, then every week, same window, same time of morning.
Morning looksmaxxing routine
About ten minutes, most of it waiting for things to absorb.
1. Water and daylight
A glass of water and ten minutes of outdoor light early in the day. The light helps anchor your sleep schedule, which is the highest return item on this page. The sleepmaxxing guide covers why.
2. Cleanse
Any gentle, fragrance free cleanser. We do not sell one, so buy whichever one leaves your face clean but not tight. If your skin runs dry, a plain water rinse in the morning is fine. Squeaky means stripped.
3. Eye gel (optional)
If the look of puffiness or dark circles bothers you, a dime sized amount of the Peptide Eye Gel-Cream, patted along the orbital bone with your ring finger. It is built around acetyl tetrapeptide-5 and sodium hyaluronate. It will not change genetics, bone structure or a week of short nights, and a fixed bedtime does more under the eyes than any product.
4. One serum
Pick by the job, not the hype. For hydration and a brighter, more even looking tone, the PDRN Brightening Serum: 2 to 4 drops on clean, dry skin. If the look of uneven tone and dark spots is your main concern, the Dark Spot Serum instead, which names hexylresorcinol, niacinamide and kojic acid on its INCI. Not both on day one.
5. Moisturizer
The Advanced Peptide Moisturizer is our default: a copper peptide (copper lysinate/prolinate on the INCI) in a light cream that sits under sunscreen. Yes, even if your skin is oily. A moisturizer is what keeps the serum on your face instead of evaporating off it.
6. Sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher
Any brand. We do not make one. Broad spectrum, SPF 30 minimum, every morning including cloudy ones, and a texture you will actually wear. This step does more for how your skin looks in ten years than everything above it combined.
7. Creatine and a protein breakfast
3 to 5 g of creatine monohydrate a day, any time you will not forget. A scoop of Creatine+ Hydration in your morning water is 5 g of creatine with electrolytes. Then a breakfast with real protein in it, because protein at target is the nutrition variable that matters most for body composition.
Training and the middle of the day
Three to five sessions a week, progressive resistance training, adding weight or reps over time. Lower body fat and more muscle change how your jaw, neck and shoulders read more than any topical product can. If you are short on protein, a shake of Performance Whey (22 g of protein per serving) after training closes the gap. Rinse your face after a sweaty session. The body recomp guide covers the training and the diet math.
Free extras that belong in the day: posture, a haircut every few weeks, a trimmed beard line, and reapplying sunscreen if you are outside for hours.
Night looksmaxxing routine
1. Cleanse
This is the one that matters. You are washing off sunscreen, sweat and the day. Same gentle cleanser.
2. Serum
The PDRN Brightening Serum is built for twice daily use and contains no exfoliating acids or retinoids, so it layers under anything. If you want a pure hydration layer instead, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum carries four forms of HA. Apply to slightly damp skin and always seal it with moisturizer.
3. Moisturizer, and retinol nights
Two nights a week, swap the peptide moisturizer for the Anti Aging Moisturizer, which contains retinol alongside acetyl octapeptide-3, tripeptide-29 and ceramide NP. Retinol is the step most beginners rush. Start at two nights, and only add a third once two weeks of two nights have been uneventful. Retinol makes sunscreen non negotiable the next morning. It also contains fragrance, so patch test if your skin is reactive. On the other nights, the peptide moisturizer. The retinol vs peptides guide explains why this split works.
4. Hair and beard serum (optional)
If you want the look of fuller hair or a fuller looking beard, the Hair & Beard Peptide Serum goes on the scalp or beard area, massaged in for a minute or two. It carries five named peptides, with rosemary and saw palmetto extracts lower on the list. It will not regrow hair. If you are seeing real thinning, talk to a doctor about it.
5. Sleep
Seven to nine hours on a fixed wake time. Cool, dark room. Phone out of reach. Nothing else in this routine works as well without it.
The weekly routine
- Photos. Same window, same time, no filter. Compare week to week, not mirror to memory.
- One rescan. The free face scan runs in your browser and tracks your skin metrics over time. Use it as a measuring tape for your routine, not a verdict on your face.
- Pillowcase. Change it at least once a week.
- Training log. Did the weights or reps go up? If not, that is the variable to fix, not the skincare.
- One adjustment, maximum. Add a product, bump retinol by a night, or change nothing. Never three things at once.
The whole routine at a glance
| When | Free | Products |
|---|---|---|
| Morning | Water, daylight, protein breakfast | Cleanser (any), serum, Advanced Peptide Moisturizer, SPF 30 (any), creatine |
| Day | Training 3 to 5x a week, posture, grooming | Whey if protein is short |
| Night | 7 to 9 hours of sleep | Cleanser, serum, moisturizer, retinol 2 nights a week |
| Weekly | Photos, training log, pillowcase | One rescan, one adjustment |
Build it in order, not all at once
- Week 0: sleep schedule, training, sunscreen, cleanser. Spend almost nothing.
- Week 1: add the moisturizer.
- Week 3: add one serum.
- Week 6 or later: start retinol two nights a week, if your skin has been calm.
- Any time: creatine and protein, because they do not interact with your skin.
The Protocol Builder will build this around your skin type, your minutes and your budget in five questions, and leave out anything you do not need.
What this routine will not do
It will not change bone structure, and nothing sold in a bottle will. Hydration shows in days, the look of skin tone and texture over eight to twelve weeks, body composition over months. Anyone promising faster is selling the timeline. The softmaxxing vs hardmaxxing guide covers where effort stops and genetics start.
FAQ
How long should a daily looksmaxxing routine take?
About ten minutes in the morning and five at night for the products. Training and sleep take longer, and they do more.
What is the best morning looksmaxxing routine?
Cleanse, one serum, moisturizer, SPF 30, then creatine and a protein breakfast. The sunscreen is the one step not to skip.
Do I need every product listed here?
No. A cleanser, a moisturizer and sunscreen are the core. Everything else is optional and should be added one at a time.
Can I use PDRN and retinol in the same routine?
Yes. A simple split is PDRN serum morning and night, with the retinol moisturizer on top two nights a week.
Is looksmaxxing healthy?
The version on this page is: sleep, training, protein, sun protection and basic skincare. The point is feeling confident in your own skin. If tracking your face starts making you feel worse instead of better, step back from the mirror and the scan for a while.
